Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between Peyton Sweeney Guides LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Helm, and you. They cover your use of helmtravel.co and any Helm Diagnostic you purchase. You accept them by checking the terms box at checkout, and that acceptance has the same effect as a signature.

The engagement. Helm delivers one Helm Diagnostic per purchase. The engagement includes: review of the written intake you complete, covering loyalty balances, card portfolio, trip vision, preferences, and cash budget; a Diagnostic Report containing a current-state inventory, one trip recommendation with three contingency paths, a Compensation Disclosure, and a Value Capture Summary; a PDF Booking Summary with critical dates, transfer steps, quick links, and contingency triggers, delivered together with the Report; and email support for execution questions for fourteen calendar days after delivery. A contingency path is an alternate booking route (a different property, program, or cash pathway) usable if the primary recommendation’s availability changes before you book.

Delivery target. Helm aims to deliver the Report and Booking Summary within seven business days of a complete and accurate intake. The target is not a guaranteed deadline. The clock starts when the intake is complete and pauses while Helm waits on clarifications from you.

Fee. The fee is the amount stated on the Pricing page and at checkout, due in full at purchase through Stripe. No installments.

Value Capture Guarantee. Helm guarantees the delivered Value Capture Summary will identify at least $1,500 of measurable value across the five categories of the Helm Value Capture Methodology. Within two business days of a complete intake, Helm reviews your portfolio for capacity to support that threshold; if it can’t, Helm declines the engagement and refunds the full fee. If Helm proceeds and the delivered Summary identifies less than $1,500 anyway, Helm refunds the full fee within ten business days of delivery, automatically. The deliverable remains yours regardless of refund status. Every refund path is described on the Refund and Cancellation Policy page. Other than this guarantee, Helm makes no promise about dollar value, points value, award availability, or trip outcome.

What Helm is not. Helm does not book travel on your behalf and is not your travel agent. Helm does not sell, arrange, or broker travel services. Helm never accesses your credit card, banking, or loyalty accounts. Helm is not a financial advisor, tax advisor, fiduciary, or licensed travel agent; recommendations are travel-strategy intelligence, not legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Helm receives no compensation from any third party for Diagnostic recommendations; the fee is Helm’s only compensation. Award inventory, transfer ratios, and program valuations change without notice and are not representations of Helm. The Diagnostic is for trips you’re taking yourself. Points redeemed only for travelers who aren’t on the account can put the account itself at risk with several programs, so full-gift engagements are declined at the eligibility review, with a full refund.

Your responsibilities. You confirm you own or lawfully control the loyalty and card information you provide, the information is accurate to your knowledge, and you are at least 18. The intake must be submitted within seven days of payment; if no complete intake arrives by then, the engagement ends and the full fee is refunded automatically, per the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Confidentiality and data. Helm keeps your financial and travel information confidential, and you keep Helm’s methodologies and pricing confidential, each for three years after the engagement ends. Data storage, retention, deletion, and breach notice are described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the deliverable for your own travel planning, including business travel. You may not resell, republish, or use it to provide services to others. Helm retains all rights in the Value Capture Methodology, templates, and processes. Site content on helmtravel.co is Helm’s property; do not republish or scrape it.

Liability. Each party’s total liability under these terms is capped at the fee paid. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost points value, replacement booking costs, or trip expenses. These limits do not apply to breach of confidentiality, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud. You’re responsible for how you execute the recommendations; any claim a third party raises over bookings you make is between you and them, and you’ll hold Helm harmless from it.

Term and termination. The engagement runs from purchase until the end of the 14-day Q&A window. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before submitting your intake. Helm may end the engagement and refund the full fee in the event of abusive or unlawful conduct.

Governing law. Wisconsin law governs these terms. Disputes go first to non-binding mediation in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; unresolved disputes belong to the state and federal courts located there. The prevailing party recovers reasonable attorney’s fees.

General. These terms, together with the Refund and Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stand. Helm may update these terms; the version you accept at checkout governs your engagement. Notices to Helm: peyton@helmtravel.co. Peyton Sweeney Guides LLC, Germantown, Wisconsin.
